beatswoopo, i know you have your interests and i have more to do... and pls get it right: i was not comparing madoff to swoopo. i said that your argument "well, they are international, thus they should be no scam" is not valid

If you think that I am saying things are dandy just because it's international, it's not what I am saying. There are international regulations that need to be followed and probably are. Sorry that you misunderstood my comment.

your argument is a non-argument. the fact that they are international does not mean they are not a scam. have you heard of bernard madoff? they are very new internationally (existed only in germany until late 2008)... now people are starting to talk about it, and will eventually come to some judgment

Ok, Madoff didn't have an online retail auction website. He took people's money and claimed to invest it. Swoopo isn't guaranteeing a return on your money. You know you are competing for a product and hopefully you get it for under a retail price. This is straight forward enough that they tell you each bid costs x amount and you have to pay the final price. I don't see how they are being elusive at all and a comparison of Swoopo to a ponzi just makes no sense. Please back it up more, thanks.

International auctions are exactly what they say they are; international. Any person will tell you that there is such a thing as consumer trends and any smart person will know that they should forecast consumer demands and market conditions. This is what the Beat Swoopo strategy guide does.

Lerry - I find it very difficult to understand the base of your 'argument'. If Swoopo was actually a scam, it would have been shut down long ago. Whether you perceive it as a gambling site or an auction site is a matter of your perception. (to be continued)
