Why swoopo is a scam. USA 1 cent auctions, SONY LCD 42' RRV $1,200.00 If the auction started at $0.00 and it ended at $225.00 at 1 cent bids that means that there were 22,500 bids. 22,500 bids at .75 cents per bid = $16, 875.00 So where I see the scam here is that they always advertise how with ended auctions how even with the bids and the buy out price the person still gets it below resale value. So thus someone might set up a bid butler feeling like they could win a auction at a fair cost if they were to leave it up to unlimited funds but in reality they would be paying 15x the items cost. I believe this to be a scam.
